Boat Hire

We regret that due to time available we cannot find boats for crews from UK mainland and suggest that you contact individual clubs directly or post a notice on the Rowing Service Web Site.

Exact prices will depend on quality of boat, age and also type of boat e.g. Empachers being more highly sort after may be more expensive than that quoted above.

The most common boat available is a Janousek. These are quite easy to get hold of, as are stern coxed fours.

American models are very rare in the UK.

You may also be expected to derig the boat and load it back onto the hosts trailer as part of the hire fee.

Insurance may not be included in the hire price quoted above and should be discussed with the club lending the boat as should boat maintenance support whilst borrowing the boat.
