British, Irish, Dutch and US among winners at 24th Henley Women’s regatta
The culmination of one of the highest standard entries ever at Henley Women’s Regatta saw Britain’s European Championship eight prove themselves worthy of the Sports Council trophy for elite 8s by beating the GB Under-23 crew with a third of a length clear water in a tight race. Both crews had fought their way to the final through a strong field of overseas visitors including crews from Princeton and Brown Universities in the US.

Regatta promises to be most 'hotly contested’ for years
A strong international contingency is set to make the 24th Henley Women’s Regatta one of the most hotly contested for years with British rowers facing tough competition from overseas, especially in elite eights. Four crews making the long journey from the US for the blue ribbon event will find two GB squad crews in the mix – the main complement of the crew racing at the European championships, and this year’s selected Under-23 eight.

Premier women’s regatta expands offer to lightweights and adaptive rowers
The world’s leading women’s regatta has announced new events for lightweights and adaptive rowers this year. In what will be the 24th anniversary for the event, two new categories have been added – senior lightweight double sculls, and adaptive trunk and arms single sculls.
